1) Ink Cartridge Problems :- After installing a new cartridge into your printer the print is really rubbish with lines as if the ink is not getting through. O.K remember to remove the paper tab (Normally Yellow) from the cartridge, Before installing always shake you cartridge. Once installed if the print still looks bad then leave the printer alone with the new cartridge installed for 12 hrs. This lets the ink settle to the base of the cartridge. What normally happens is when you buy a cartridge it has been stored upside down so the ink is at the top of the cartridge instead of the bottom. Leaving it for 12 hours allows the ink to travel to the bottom hopefully giving you a normal print. This has been proven to work many many times, if your cartridge is still rubbish try cleaning the cartridge a few times using the printer maintenance screen. - Hope This Helps, Please feel free to e-mail your feedback.
2) Virus Problems :- Yes they are everywhere and no matter how hard you try they still seem to get through. The best way is to use software that checks every file that is downloaded onto you system and also checks your e-mail. The best software is AVG i have installed this software for many years and think that it is just the best. This software is free of charge to home users and can be download through a link at out Software Download Page. There are many other choices that are free so have a browse around if you are not happy with AVG.
3) Spyware/Adware :- Ok just a quick description, spyware is a piece of software that has been installed onto your operating system without you even knowing it. After it is installed you will get loads of pop ups and annoying messages. Spyware is also used as a information collecting service, this is called tracking software which looks and lists everywhere you go on the internet. More scary some even collect your personal data like bank details !!!! some spy ware is harmless and some is very harmful, So be warned !!!!. Again the best way to get rid of this is downloading a spy ware remover. Many are on the market and free i would personally recommend spybot search and destroy for a free version (Available at our Software Download Page).My second is Stopzilla this software is not free but is very good and will stop all software before it has chance to install. Stopzilla also acts as a pop up stopper and does it really well. Considering your personal data is a risk I think the $19.99 is worth spending.
